Justification By Faith Alone In Christ Alone (Galatians 2:15-16)

Title: Justification By Faith Alone In Christ Alone

Passage: Galatians 2:15-16

Speaker: Doctor, Eric White

Service: Sunday Morning Worship Service

Date: May 9th, 2021

Introduction: Through our study of Paul’s letter to the Galatian Churches, we have seen him defend the one true gospel and his apostolic ministry. The passage before us today, 2:15-16, is one of the doctrinal hallmarks of evangelical Christianity. Paul attests that justification before God comes through faith alone in Christ alone.

Outline:

  1. General Nature of Justification
  2. Personal Nature of Justification
  3. Universal Nature of Justification

The Temptation of the Son (Luke 4:1-13)

Title: The Temptation of the son

Passage: Luke 4:1-13

Speaker: Pastor Ryan Martin

Service: Sunday Morning Worship Service

Date: May 2, 2021

We can learn much here about temptation, and we will. But this is not so much about the nature of temptation as it is about the victorious obedience and submission of the son of God to the will of the Father. In fact, the Devil’s basis for temptation is Christ’s identity as the son of God.v3: If you are the son of God… v9: If you are the son of God. How did Jesus prove himself to be the son of Godin his temptations?

  1. God’s Son trusted his Father for Provision
  2. God’s Son trusted his Father for the Kingdom
  3. God’s Son trusted his Father for his Promises

Title: The Human Son

Passage: Luke 3:23-38

Speaker: Pastor Ryan Martin

Service: Sunday Morning Worship Service

Date: April 25th, 2021

Genealogies aren’t always exiting. Sometimes they puzzle us, and we struggle to stay awake while we read them in out morning devotions. But as you’ll see I hope you’ll see today, Luke does not give us a passage like this perfunctory or pointless list of names. We can take great profit from a passage like this. Here are four things we can learn from Luke’s genealogy of Jesus Christ:
1. Christ’s Virgin Birth
2.Christ the Fulfillment of Prophecy
3. Christ the Son of Sinful Men
4. Christ the Representative of All Humanity

The Beloved Son (Luke 3: 15-22)

Title: The Beloved Son

Passage: Luke 3:15-22

Speaker: Pastor Ryan Martin

Service: Sunday Morning Worship Service

Date: April 18, 2021

John the Baptists knew the supremacy of Christ. Our text is Luke’s transition from John the Baptist’s important ministry to that of our Lord Jesus. In it, the supremacy of Jesus, the Christ, The Father’s beloved Son, is plainly evident. How?

  1. Christ Alone Possesses Spiritual Power
  2. Christ is Worthy of Life-Endangering Persecution
  3. Christ is Beloved of God
