At times we break from the regular worship calendar and worship Christ in special ways to honor his life and redemptive work or build us up in our mutual love for one another and for our Savior.
Holy Week:
We try to have an evening service on Good Friday in which to focus on the Passion and death of Christ. Easter Sunday services are often earlier and longer than usual, and we may have breakfast as well as dinner, to prolong our celebration together.
Christmas:
On Christmas Eve, the congregation holds a candlelight service of lessons and carols.
