The question is, how does Christ, in whom the whole fullness of God dwells bodily, fill us? Paul has already given many ways. Paul lists these blessings in order that believers might grasp by faith the glory of Christ. When we are assured of all that Christ is for us, we will continue to believe upon him. There are at least three powerful metaphors in our text. They are further reasons for of why we must continue to hold to Christ by faith.
